POUND is a full body workout that combines cardio, strength training, and conditioning. Movements are inspired by yoga and pilates, and the whole workout is set to awesome music. But the BEST part is that POUND incorporates the fun of playing the drums! Each class will start with a brief overview of the 4 core positions in POUND and tips for being safe. Ripstix (or drumsticks) Soft floor (carpet, rug, yoga mat, etc.) Workout clothes Water
Students will need to use drumsticks to pound on the floor. They should be drumming with materials that are not going to break easily and on a surface that will absorb impact (carpet, rug, yoga mat, etc.) Class may include rock or pop music. Lyrics will not include swear words. See the description above for my playlist.
