The Music Discovery Academy is a great place for younger kids to come and learn new songs in a fun, creative community. If you love music and you want to discover lots of ways to sing and play music, this is a great place to be. We sing and learn songs every time we meet, and we'll discover how different instruments can add great sounds to our music. We'll learn songs line by line, so you can feel comfortable. No mature content. As an art form, music often arises from sensitive historical or cultural contexts. Any historical/cultural music will be learned in a secular, informative way. Any potentially sensitive music (e.g., holidays) will be posted for parents and students to see a week before it would be used in class. If any student or parent feels uncomfortable with the selection, that music will not be used. Any student or family sensitivities (e.g., no holidays) will be treated with discretion and absolute respect.
