Welcome to Minecraft: The Science of Amusement Parks! This class is perfect for kids ages 7 years olds through 10 years olds who love the excitement of amusement parks and want to learn about the science and engineering behind their favorite rides and attractions. In this course, we will use Minecraft to create virtual roller coasters, ferris wheels, and other rides to explore the physics of amusement park attractions. We are using Minecraft Education Edition. The students will be on a secure server with only the teacher and the students that are participating in this program. You will need to have a Windows 7, 8 or 10 Mac OS, iPad with iOS10 or higher, or a Chromebook. If you are using an iPad we suggest having a second device for zoom. You will need to download the latest version of Minecraft Education Edition - https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/get-started
