Students will speak, read and write with the following concepts;
*The verbs Ser and Estar
*When to use Ser and Estar
*Common present tense verbs ending in -ar and their meanings
*House vocabulary
*seasons of the year
*Places
*Transportation
*Activities and hobbies
*Occupations
*Cinco de Mayo/ history and practices

I have a Master's degree in Education, a Bachelors degree in Spanish and I am certified to teach Spanish K-12. I have taught students ages 4-18 from beginning Elementary Spanish to Level IV high school. I also have extensive experience teaching ESL to learners of English and hold a TEFL certificate.

Students will receive homework at the end of each Google Slides presentation to reinforce learning in class as well as individual projects that will be shared in class using the Spanish language. Homework will take 15-30 minutes per class outside of class time.

Paper, writing utensil and the ability to join a special "Google classroom" created for students enrolled in this course. We will utilize "Kahoot" and "Pear Deck" as a group to reinforce new material. I will also, at times, play a 2-3 minute video/song from Youtube to introduce the class to an educational song.
