Master the art of the 5 paragraph essay.  The award winning and proven Dahlen Method™ will have you crafting effective arguments without the stress.  In this course, we will cover the fundamental skills to master the art of writing compelling essays. With extensive experience in reading and grading essays, I have developed a simplified and clear approach to teaching basic essay writing. Through practical activities and engaging discussions, we will delve into essential skills week by week.

Week 1: Crafting a Strong Thesis: We will focus on constructing a compelling thesis statement, the foundation of any successful essay.

Week 3: Harnessing Evidence: We will delve into the art of using evidence effectively to support your arguments persuasively.

Week 4: Mastering Introductions and Conclusions: We will discuss strategies for crafting captivating introductions and impactful conclusions, leaving a lasting impression on your readers.

Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to apply the skills you learn through practical activities. Additionally, outside of class, you will have the chance to complete and submit essays for feedback, allowing you to refine your writing further.
