In class, we will focus on 6 basic movements and eventually create more advanced variations of each skill. These 6 core skills are 1-2 Kick, Cartwheel, Macaco, Butterfly Kick, Tornado Kick, and Shoulder Roll. This class is a part of a curriculum that goes along with Capoeira and Martial Arts Kicks offered by Coach Eurico. So to train multiple days a week, and speed up progression, I recommend signing up additionally for Capoeira and/or Martial Arts Kicks along with Cartwheel Tricks. The...
The 6 basic tricks that the class is centered around are: 1-2 Kick Cartwheel Scoot Butterfly Kick Tornado Kick Shoulder Roll These movements are off-axis horizontal and partially inverted skills that can be progressed to full inversion safely over time, with awareness of the cartwheel and spotting techniques. If students consistently perform these skills, then variations and combo sequences will be provided to solidify each movement even more.
Coach Eurico is a highly trained movement professional that has been Tricking for 9 years, practicing Capoeira for 12 years, Parkour for 7 years, and coaching different styles of movement and academics for over 10 years. Coach Eurico has also worked professionally as Spider-Man and Wolverine in Marvel Universe LIVE touring stunt show.
8x8 minimum open space. Grass, carpet, or matted floor recommended. Although, each movement can be safely learned on a wood floor if necessary.
