Welcome to our Life Science program, a comprehensive and interactive course designed to foster a profound connection with the natural world. This course blends Life Science with interdisciplinary elements, including language arts, creative arts, nature studies, and conservation, creating a multifaceted educational experience.

DAILY STRUCTURE 

Our daily routine follows a structured format:

⦾ We begin with a warm welcome to set a positive tone for the day.
⦾ This is followed by an engaging presentation, which includes opportunities for learners to actively participate in reading.
⦾ The session concludes with a guided drawing and writing activity, designed to reinforce the day's learning and stimulate creative expression.

WEEKLY STRUCTURE

Each week, students dive into a different nature-based theme, examining it through various lenses:

FACT FILE (Monday): We start with a 'Fact File' section, providing an overview of the theme. Key topics like habitat, diet and species variety are covered, along with facts about the smallest and largest species. 

LIFE CYCLE (Tuesday): An in-depth exploration of each stage of the life cycle of the theme, detailing characteristics, significance, and unique attributes. This comprehensive approach captures the essence of each phase.

ANATOMY (Wednesday): A detailed look at the anatomy of the theme, starting with its overall appearance and focusing on key body parts. The session elaborates on the functionality, significance, and unique adaptations of these anatomical features.

VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP (Thursday) - Each week will culminate in a virtual field trip, offering students an immersive and interactive experience related to the week's theme, enhancing the learning experience.including show and tell, drawing, and sentence writing based on the week's theme.

This program is designed not only to impart knowledge but also to inspire curiosity, responsible action, and a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of life. It's ideal for students eager to explore the wonders of life sciences and their role in preserving the natural world.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each class is complemented by presentations, discussions, and creative tasks, providing an in-depth exploration and vocabulary enhancement. The inclusion of drawing, journaling, and interactive discussions each week encourages the creative expression of scientific concepts.

At the beginning of each week, children will receive a nature learning journal PDF themed around the week's topic. This optional resource is perfect for extending learning at home.

This class operates on a cycle of standalone weekly modules, allowing students to join at any point in the 48-week cycle without missing prior information. It provides a rich and varied learning experience throughout the year.
