個別指導

This class in an opportunity for a learner to work with me in a one-on-one, completely individualized learning environment.  The two 30 minute tutoring sessions can be once a week over two weeks, two times in the same week, or even back-to-back (essentially creating a 1 hour-long meeting), if my schedule can accommodate. 

I am an experienced social studies teacher with multiple degrees and certifications- please see the teacher expertise details of this listing for more information.  I can either review social studies content or teach new content, depending on the needs of the parent/learner.  I can also offer my multi-day classes as 1-1 classes in this class. 
Tutoring can be used to help struggling students, challenge gifted-learners, prepare for upcoming assessments, complete assignments, and/or learn new social studies content.  I love to make learning fun and interactive.  Students will be expected to participate.  I may utilize Kahoot, Nearpod, Padlet, slides, Google Docs, Google Earth, and/or video clips etc... The tools will be chosen depending on the purpose of the tutoring. No learner will be expected to purchase or download anything to be able to access any educational technology tools incorporated.
