-Students can locate natural geographic sites that were destination points along the Oregon trail.

I have a BA in Political Science, a MA in secondary teaching certification in all social subjects 5-12 and a post-Masters degree in educational technology to enhance learning.  I've taught social studies subjects for 10+ years, with a majority of my experiences teaching American History.  I've also attended several workshops and professional development opportunities focused on incorporating America's past in current discussions about today's landmarks, historic buildings and monuments.

Keep notes during the simulation, with details along the trail, and complete one option below:
-After the simulation, once you've reached the destination, write a letter to someone from where you used to live, and either persuade them to make the journey or caution them against making the journey.  Include specifics regarding what was "experienced" along the trail.
-Provide 7+ hashtags that would describe the journey through the Oregon Trail.
