I have been teaching STEM for four years with a few different organizations to include Graduate Women in Sciences Hawai'i. With this organization, I was the Outreach Coordinator and was in charge of creating all our outreach events for three years. Because of this experience with my fellow researchers I have a broad knowledge of the basics concepts of many scientific fields. I also have special expertise in many of these areas: (the arctic and antarctic studies): I have conducted research in the Antarctic peninsula and visited the arctic circle (enzymes): I am currently earning my degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemical Engineering (frequency hopping): I served 8 years in the U.S. Army as a communications specialist where I mainly worked on frequency hopping radios (animal science): I have both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Animal Science
