I will assess students in class based on their participation and homework (if they do their homework). Students will also have occasional quizzes. Students should have a math journal to keep their notes in and solve example problems. I would also like them to have a small marker board and/or some sheet protectors, along with some dry erase markers. This will be beneficial to class participation.
