進行中の5年生数学クラス

In this class, students will meet weekly to learn and practice core math concepts for 5th Grade. Over the course of the school year, we will cover the common core math standards for 5th Grade, including:

-place value
-expanded notation
-multiplication & division
-word problems
-equivalent fractions
-comparing fractions
-ordering fractions
-mixed numbers and irregular fractions
-decimals
-types of angles
-measuring angles
-identifying shapes by lines and angles
-perimeter
-area
-probability 
-polygons


Students will have multiple opportunities to practice these skills. Each class stands alone and does not require previous knowledge. In this class, students are not required to mute themselves (unless their background noise is very distracting). I teach via Google Slides and incorporate games into my classes to make math fun.
