Mastery Evaluation
1 hour per week. Everyday we learn few new ideas, kids must apply those ideas while they play chess with their siblings, friends or parents.
Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of our Intermediate Chess Sculptor Course, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Proficiency, acknowledging their advanced understanding of chess strategies, tactics, and techniques, and demonstrating their ability to apply these skills in competitive play.

Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
Intermediate Level
The Chess Sculptor: Chisel Your Chess Strategy to Perfection is an expert-led, intermediate-level course tailored to refine strategic thinking and tactical execution. Each session commences with 5-10 theme-based tactical exercises, optimized for individual skill levels, focusing on intermediate tactics such as 
1. Skewers 
2. Pins
3. Undermining
4. Backrank Weakness, and Traps. Through collaborative analysis on a shared screen, students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The session culminates in a guided game, where real-time feedback on errors and mistakes is provided, followed by in-depth post-game analysis, ensuring accelerated improvement and refinement.

Learning Goals

Improve endgame play by understanding key principles, including king and pawn relationships, bishop pairs, and rook promotion to win more games.
Enhance tactical skills by learning pins, sacrifices, deflection, skewering, and discovered attacks to gain a competitive edge.

Learning Needs
Our chess class is intentionally designed to support unique learning needs, such as ADHD, Dyslexia, and ASD, by incorporating visual, tactile, and kinesthetic learning approaches, flexible pacing, and one-on-one attention.
Parental Guidance
To maintain privacy, we utilize the anonymous gameplay feature on Lichess for all chess play activities, so no worries, no need to sign up and create an account on lichess.
Pre-Requisites
Basic chess knowledge, understanding of pieces, movements & objectives. Completion of beginner's chess course or equivalent experience (approx. 6-12 months of casual play)."
Supply List
for a seamless and secure learning experience, we will utilize LICHESS.ORG for interactive gameplay. To ensure learner anonymity and safety, we will provide anonymous access links, eliminating the need for account creation."
