1 hour per week. Everyday we learn few new ideas, kids must apply those ideas while they play chess with their siblings, friends or parents.Certificate of Completion
Upon successfully completing our Intermediate Level 3 course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their advanced mastery of tactical chess strategies, including Zwischenzug, sacrificial attacks, and endgame techniques. This certificate demonstrates their expertise and commitment to refining their chess skills.Class Experience

Intermediate Level
This 10-week tactical chess course will delve into advanced strategies, covering topics such as overwhelming opponents, removing defenders, disrupting plans, trapping pieces, Zwischenzug, pawn promotion, sacrificial attacks, perpetual check, and stalemate. Each lesson will build upon the previous one, culminating in a final recap and refinement session. Through a combination of lectures, games, and discussions, learners will engage with the material and receive personalized feedback. The instructor's expert-led approach will foster a deep understanding of tactical play, with ample opportunities for questions, analysis, and guided practice.
Learning Goals
Analyze positions to identify opportunities for tactical overload, defender removal, and interference, and develop strategies to exploit these weaknesses.Master intermediate techniques such as Zwischenzug, pawn promotion, and sacrificial attacks, and learn to integrate these skills into overall game strategy.Syllabus

Understand how to interfere with your opponent's plans and create chaos. Master the technique of interference to gain an upper hand. 50 mins online live lesson

Caging the Prey
Discover how to trap your opponent's pieces and limit their mobility. Develop tactics to restrict your opponent's movement. 50 mins online live lesson

Learning Needs
Our chess class is intentionally designed to support unique learning needs, such as ADHD, Dyslexia, and ASD, by incorporating visual, tactile, and kinesthetic learning approaches, flexible pacing, and one-on-one attention.
Parental Guidance
To maintain privacy, we utilize the anonymous gameplay feature on Lichess for all chess play activities.
Pre-Requisites
