Is your child enthusiastic about chess and eager to refine their skills? Our ongoing chess club is the perfect opportunity for them to engage in friendly competition and improve their gameplay.
Class Description:
In this low-key, group-based class, your child will participate in weekly chess games using our specialized chessboard. The focus is on collaborative play rather than instruction, with approximately 10% of the class dedicated to guidance. Each group game will feature 1-6 team members, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
Important Prerequisites:
To ensure your child gets the most out of this class, please note that they should possess:
A fundamental understanding of chess basics
Familiarity with chess notations, point values, and board structure
kids learn best when they apply a concept, so during gameplay every week
the kid will be applyiing concepts like

6. discovered attacks
7. pawn significance
8.bishop endgames etc
