In this one-time class, the student will learn facts about sunsets. The students will be shown a picture of a sunset. The students can tell the class what they like about sunsets. The students will also learn the colours that we see in a sunset and the colours we see in the ocean /beach. As, well the students will learn about warm and cool colours. The students will be making sunset and the ocean with watercolour paints and crayons or oil pastels. I will be doing it with the students. The students can draw things they see in the water/ beach. At the end of the class, the student can show the class their art project and tell the class one thing they enjoyed doing during the art project.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years.
In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.
I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
