"Stitch & Create: Flex Sewing Adventure for Kids" Description: Are you ready to embark on an exciting sewing journey and unleash your creativity? Join us in the "Stitch & Create" 1 week flex sewing course designed especially for beginners like you! In this course, we'll explore the magical world of sewing and guide you through the process of crafting your very own 9-square patchwork pillow. Lesson by lesson, you'll dive into the art of sewing with easy-to-follow video demonstrations and step-by-step directions. We'll start in Lesson 1, where you'll learn all about sewing machines - how they work, how to thread them, and how to create neat practice seams. As the lessons progress, you'll level up your sewing skills. In lesson 2, I'll show you how to use pattern pieces to cut out the fabric for your pillow's front. By Lesson 3, you'll bring your patchwork pillow to life! I'll guide you through sewing the 9 squares together to create a beautiful and unique front design. Finally, in Lesson 4, you will complete your masterpiece by cutting and attaching the pillow's back, followed by the stuffing and hand-sewing to finish your project. For the embroidery enthusiasts, you can personalize your project by adding an embroidery design to the middle square before sewing it all together. With all course videos available in the classroom by Sunday, you can take your time and work at your own pace.
