Want to help your child begin their day calm and smiling? Join me in creating good habits and a healthy mindset! Children thrive on repetition and having a positive morning routine is the perfect way to start their day. 
Learners can join this ongoing course at anytime.

This class is about creating and implementing a positive morning routine. Each class session, we will spend about 4 to 5 minutes working on each step of the six key morning C.H.A.R.M.S practices. During each class we will complete the morning C.H.A.R.M.S: Creativity, Health, Affirmations, Reading, Meditation and Service. Students will be exercising their brains and bodies in a positive way that will have a big impact on their day! The students will be actively involved and engaged throughout the lesson and there will be many opportunities for them to share in the discussion and activities.

I will lead the students in each of the six key practices every class. First, for creativity we will draw or doodle. Then, we will get up and get moving for the practice of health. We will then discuss positive affirmations and students will each state an affirmation or "I am" statement for the day. Next, the students will listen to or read a short passage for reading. After that we will center ourselves by doing a short meditation to find stillness and confidence in the present moment. Finally, we will plan how to serve others throughout our day. 

Students may want to have their favorite crayons or colored pencils and a blank notebook or sketch book to draw, doodle, write their affirmations or even ideas of ways to serve others.
