This is a club for kids how love to draw!

Class meets twice a week to give children dedicated time during the week to work on their creativity and develop their skills.
Classes often begin with warm up exercises and games designed to get the brain and creative juices flowing. Children are then allowed to work on the art they want to create. As a teacher I provide guidance, suggestions, and feedback on an ongoing basis, throughout class and week to week.

This class is primarily aimed at drawing and sketching and building up these basic skills. Exploring linework, shapes, shading, texture and more. Other types of art is permitted and children who master the basic methods are encouraged to explore additional areas such as color, painting, and more.

The class structure in informal and children are allowed to follow their own in inspirations and creative wanderings. Children are highly encouraged to participate in class discussion. Questions are always encouraged and children are allowed to interact with one another and get feedback from their peers.

The class follows the needs of the students and topics covered in class are based off expressed interests of students. Children are encouraged to set goals and create projects they can work on a progressive basis. Students are allowed to draw in whatever style they prefer from realistic to cartoon.

The goal of this class is to grow as artists and individuals and become the best artists we can be!

My name is Brian and I am an artist and illustrator from Los Angeles, California. I am a classically trained in fine art and animation. In addition to making art I really enjoy teaching youth and helping them to develop their own unique form of creativity.

I have a number of years teaching and working with youth in various after school programs. I truly believe to that learning should be fun and I strive to provide an environment that is enriching, safe, and creatively nurturing. Students will be encouraged to express themselves artistically and to add their own imagination to the lessons.

Currently, I offer daily and weekly, cartooning courses. These are ongoing classes and the lessons evolve as course progresses, so children that wish to repeat the class will have new material to work from. These are entry level classes designed for anyone with an interest in drawing. All skill levels are welcome. Classes are non-competitive and each student is encouraged to do their own personal best. I believe that students can learn a lot from drawing with each other. In these classes students will have the opportunity to learn from myself but also each other as well.

In addition, I will be offering limited one time classes. This is a good way to test out the course and see if your child would be interested in one of the longer classes. These classes are also a option for tutoring if your child has specific drawing goals. If your child has special needs please reach out and let me know before the first class so I can make any necessary adjustments.
