In this one-time class, the students will learn about stars. The students will notice at night that they are shooting stars. The students will be shown a real picture of stars at night. The students can tell the class what they like about stars. The students will be making a shooting star art project with chalk pastels. I will be doing it with the students. At the end of the class, the students can show their art project to the class.

Please supervise your student when they are doing their art project by making sure you are not on the camera. Please make sure your student can use chalk pastels. Chalk pastels are messy.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years.

Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.
I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
