In this weekly on-going class, students will be guided through a step-by-step drawing lesson where they will learn how to draw a new Pokemon character every week. There are over 800 characters which will guarantee no duplicate drawings! We'll begin class by playing a round of Gimket, Blooket, or Kahoot to learn fun and interesting facts about the week's character before diving right into our hands-on drawing lesson. ⭐️This fun Q&A session lasts approximately 10-15 minutes.⭐️ After our fun game, students will then be able to follow along with me in drawing the week's chosen character. I will be using an overhead camera in order to allow students to have a better look at each step for an easier and more engaging drawing session. At the end of every class, we will be doing virtual Pokémon card trading using a set of virtual cards I have created for class. Each student will have a chance to select 5 random cards to add to their collection. They can even trade cards with other students! Here is a schedule of what is coming up for the current week: ⭐️ Thursday, 10/12 - Gyarados ⭐️Thursday, 10/19 - TBD - Will be determined with a random Wheel of Characters that is spun at the end of the previous class. The following week's drawing schedule will be determined by a random wheel of characters that will be spun at the end of every class making it a learner-directed class. Our class recording will be available for all students shortly after class should they wish to draw our happy little character again. I will also be sending a PDF template of our drawing 24 hours before the class is scheduled to start for those who simply want to trace it and color it in instead.
