Please note: This is a one-on-one tutoring class meant to accommodate your schedule. Message Rozine with the BEST day and time that works for you and your learner. Learners will have Rozine's undivided attention exploring drawing techniques. Over time, students learn to draw several different cute, cartoon characters. - Research shows there is a significant connection between arts and achievement. Drawing and coloring develops many talents, such as: • fine motor skills • spatial reasoning • objectivity • visualization • self-discipline • creative problem-solving
Since 2005, Rozine taught cartooning classes to elementary-aged, inner-city children in Chicago and Los Angeles. She is the illustrator, author, and publisher of several all-age coloring activity books. She creates a relaxing atmosphere, encouraging connection amongst others, as well as confident self-expression.
Students will need either a sketchpad, or 5-10 sheets of drawing or printer paper. Pencils and erasers are a must. Coloring utensils can be crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers. A Sharpie marker is optional. Rulers may be needed. Students can frame their artwork by stapling or taping it to a larger sheet of colored construction paper (also optional).
