Números mixtos y fracciones impropias con la Sra. Gray

🟢 In this 4 session self paced course, students will not have any live meetings. Students will watch prerecorded lessons and complete the activities in the lesson.  Each session will take about 30-45 minutes to complete. Students can complete this course in four weeks by completing one lesson per week, or they may choose to work at a faster pace and complete all four lessons in one week.  I will be available for questions and feedback, typically responding within twenty-four hours. 

🟡In this course students will learn to indentify mixed numbers and improper fractions. Then, they will learn how to convert a mixed number to an improper fraction and how to convert an improper fraction to a mixed number. Finally, students will learn how to add and subtract mixed numbers and improper fractions. 

🟠Each lesson will follow this format:
Introduction of the topic
Teacher modeling of the concept
Student practice
Review of practice problems
End game, quiz, or assessment to check understanding

🔵Teaching Style
I want each student to feel confident and have fun while working with fractions! I will come to class full of energy and ready to engage each student. Students will follow along asynchronously as I share my screen with colorful slides. I will encourage students to solve the problems on their own as I model the step by step process in the lesson. Students are welcome to print off my slides before class to make it easy to follow along on each problem.
