Do you have a beginning reader in your house? Then have your learner join me for this ongoing phonics class as we learn to read CVC words (consonant/vowel/consonant). Each week I will be teaching a different ending sound with the use of colorful slides and worksheets. We will begin each class by learning the new sound for the week. Then, we will practice blending and reading words with this sound. 

These classes will include a variety of fun activities to reinforce the word families. Some of the activities include choosing the correct word for each picture, reading the words on the treasure map to find our way to the treasure chest, and listening to the name of each picture on the slide and deciding if it belongs in our word family or not.

I will have different themes throughout our lessons to add a little bit of extra fun, such as, dinosaurs, space, ocean animals, jungle animals and artic animals.

To get the most out of this class, learners should be familiar with the names and sounds of individual letters. This is an ongoing class, so your student can jump in and join us at any time. I hope to see your child in my class!
