This is a 1:1 tutoring class designed to help give your child a boost in their reading skills. Some of the areas we will focus on include: phonics skills, sight words, reading fluency, spelling, comprehension, and more. Each class will be tailored to the needs of your child. Parents are encouraged to provide input through the Outschool messaging center. During the first class, I will spend some time assessing your child's reading ability to help determine which skills to focus on first.

My goal is to help your child learn to have fun reading while also improving his/her reading skills. I will be using colorful slides and flashcards to practice the concepts we are learning. I will also create sentences and short stories for your child to read in class. On some days we may play a fun game at the end of class to reinforce what we have learned. I hope to see your learner in my class!
