We will begin each class with a short standing warm up, followed by floor exercise that will include various stretches, technique and skills. All dance moves and music will be age appropriate. Week 1 - I Got the Music Week 2 - Cheerleader Week 3 - Better When I'm Dancing Week 4 - That Don't Impress Me Much No previous dance experience needed, however it is encouraged.

Your learn will learn beginner dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short dance each week which will teach them various patterns. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!

Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. Hello! I’m Miss Lauren and am a performer, educator, choreographer and former dance studio owner in Milton, VT. I'm a homeschooling mom to my two boys for the past 5 years and love teaching Math and English!
I am trained in various styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Acrobatics and hold a Bachelors Degree in Dance. I am also a professional for Dancing with the Stars Burlington and have graced the Flynn stage with my performance in 2019 and guest performance in 2022.
I provide wholesome dance classes where movement and music selection is always age appropriate. My main focus is to create a fun and energetic learning environment allowing kids to express themselves! I have been instructing children of all ages for 18 years and have loved every minute of it!
When not dancing, I can be found spending time with my husband and two boys. Dancing has always been my number one love and passion and is the fuel for my soul! I can’t wait to see you in my class! Now let’s get moving!
