Hello! Welcome to my Halloween edition ASL class. We will be learning signs all about this fun holiday including Happy Halloween, candy, costume,  skeleton and witch. My style of teaching is very interactive, positive and hands-on. In class, we will be reading Peppa's Halloween Party by Scholastic.

Structure:

1. ASL introductions (5 minutes)
2. Live instruction- Learn Halloween Signs through book reading, game and song. (15 minutes)
4. Review signs through a fun game (5 minutes)

I am looking forward to learning, laughing, and signing with your children soon!
No prior experience of ASL is required.

Hello 👋 My name is Ms. Kim!

Thank you for your interest in my classes! My family is about to welcome a new member, as we are expecting a baby at the beginning of September! As we prepare for this joyous moment, I wanted to inform you that my classes will be on pause during this time.

Starting from the last week of August, there will be a temporary break in my classes to allow me to focus on the arrival of our new baby and ensure that my family receives the care and attention they need during this special time.

Rest assured that I will be back and ready to resume my classes with renewed energy and enthusiasm once everything settles!

I have a strong educational and professional background in teaching language acquisition and literacy skills. I love to watch young children grow across all developmental domains through play, book readings, singing and crafts.  I'm so excited to bring my expertise to Outschool and meet wonderful families like yours! My priority is to create an inclusive space where all children feel safe, welcome, and excited to learn. I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and interactive which is exactly what I will offer in my classroom. 

ABOUT ME
I am a mom of two--my older daughter Hope is four and my younger daughter Grace is two. We love to sing and dance together, spend time at the playground, and build tents around the house! My favorite color is pink, I love dolphins, tacos and chocolate.
