Halloween y más allá: celebraciones mundiales de la cosecha y devoción a los antepasados 1:1

In this one-time secular class, Learner will explore some of the major world traditions that celebrate the Harvest, as well as the Ancestors.  The class will start with the origin and traditions of the Irish celebration of Samhain, then Halloween in the USA, followed by a number of other celebrations from China, Japan, Spain, Mexico's famous Day of the Souls & the Dead, to other cultures of the world.  The class is structured with an unbiased/factual manner with a friendly introduction, a vibrant and engaging slide presentation, exchanges, and Q&A session. Teaching style is kind and inclusive, emphasizing enthusiasm for world cultures, with fascinating learning & discovery of less known details.  For a sense of community engagement, gauging Learner's interest level, and to be able to adjust accordingly, open mics and videos are required in class. Class size is kept small to allow for comments or questions.  No previous experience is required.
