Amigos peludos: nutrias marinas: dibujo realista en grafito

In this one time art class, students will be learning to draw furry realistic sea otters in graphite pencil. We will break down the animal into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Drawing techniques will cover structure, shading, highlights, mark making, texturizing, blending, and rendering as needed for the specific project.

Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. Students will be encouraged to add their creative personal touches to their work. I'll offer a sharing event at the end of the class. Sometimes learners aren't finished at the end of class, so they can share in progress work and upload it to the classroom later. We love to share art but there's no pressure.
