Each day we will learn about the general characteristics, habitat, and habits of a different type of fair folk by exploring their representation in literature, film, and lore. (See schedule below.)

Each class meeting will begin with an interactive read aloud about a specific type of fair folk.  Students will be encouraged to respond to questions about the text and to share what they already know. Students will be invited to complete creative homework after class, which they can share/display during the next meeting if they desire.

Day 1- Fairies 
Day 2- Gnomes
Day 3- Trolls
Day 4- Brownies (the helpful kind, not the delicious kind)
Day 5- Mystery (Parents, if you need to know this ahead of time to make sure it's suitable, please send me a message.  Students tend to enjoy the anticipation leading up to this.)
