In this class learners will be taught about the mythical creature, the faery! Children will learn and discuss vocabulary such as ‘mythical’, ‘legendary’ and ‘folklore’. The class will start with a discussion on what the children already know about faeries and what they like about them. I will then go on to my presentation which is full of information which I have found out about this legendary creature. The next part of the class will be to complete the faery themed activities, which will need to be printed off prior to class. These activities will include a simple faery house craft, colouring and writing skills. Please bring along coloured pens, an old plastic milk carton, some stickers or gems, some glue and scissors to class. (Full list of supplies will be given on the print outs available when joining the class). Also note, it is not compulsory to bring along a full supply of art and craft materials, the activities can be finished off in your own time after class.

Students will learn new vocabulary, speaking and listening skills, beliefs from legends and folklore, simple writing, colouring skills, and creativity.
