Nivel Beginner
Conducting an online read-aloud session for kindergarteners can be an engaging and interactive experience, with some unique considerations. Here's how the class experience might unfold:

1. **Introduction and Welcome:** The sessions start with a warm welcome to everyone and introductions. The atmosphere will be positive and welcoming, especially for young children who may be taking an online course for the first time.

2. **Interactive Read-Aloud:** The read-aloud session will include pictures of the book being read. I will ensure that all participants can see the illustrations clearly. Students are allowed to occasionally engage with the story with questions and observations. They will be encouraged to make predictions or comment on the illustrations.

3. **Visual Cues and Engagement:** Students will be engaged when visual cues and gestures are used. Sometimes there will be props related to the story.

4. **Socratic Discussion:** After completing the read-aloud, there will be a Socratic discussion adapted for kindergarteners. Keeping questions simple and open-ended, focusing on key elements of the story such as characters, plot, and themes will be the norm. For example, questions may be:
   - "What was your favorite part of the story?"
   - "Why do you think the character did that?"
   - "What do you think will happen next?"
   - "How did the character feel in this part of the story?"

5. **Encouraging Participation:** The Discussion will be facilitated in a way that encourages every child to participate.

6. **Closure and Reflection:** The session will be concluded by summarizing the key points discussed during the Socratic discussion. Learners can reflect on what they learned from the story and how it relates to their own experiences.

By combining interactive read-alouds with Socratic discussions tailored to their developmental level, these sessions can provide kindergarteners with a meaningful and engaging learning experience, fostering a love for reading and critical thinking skills.
