Each week the class will examine an epic sea battle that has changed the course of history!  Each lesson is stand-alone, so students can join at any time with no prior experience and stay for as many sessions as they'd like.  

Through a combination of teacher-centered instruction and discussion, we will investigate the historical context, naval leadership, technology and the events of the battle itself.

Topics Include:

Actium (31 BCE) - Octavian vs. Antony & Cleopatra
