This class is specialized for speaking/talking in English and Chinese. If your kids are having difficulties for speaking out, or are afraid to talk, this is the right place! Please come to join me in this “conversation club”. I will make it easy and comfortable for learners to talk by setting up a very relaxing and fun environment. I will use pictures, stories and some educational toys to guide learners throughout the course. We will learn English and Chinese vocabularies and have fun together. I always believe learning does not have to be hard. All you have to do is to find the right place for the right people. The learning schedule is listed below, but I will update it as time goes by or as learners’ special requests. These topics are very flexible. Worldwide friends (ESL students) are welcome to join. Week of 09/07: Greetings/My Background Week of 09/14: My favorite vacation place Week of 09/21: I help my mom/dad do this… Week of 09/28: How to express your opinion? Week of 10/05: Let's talk about sports. Week of 10/12: prepositions Week of 10/19 & 08/26: (no classes) Week of 10/26: My hobby Week of 11/02: How to be polite? Week of 11/09: Let's talk about various transportation. Week of 11/16: What is your daily routine? Week of 11/23: What animals do you like? Students do not need any special supplies or materials in this class, just regular paper and pens.

Hello Outschool learners, learning does not have to be hard, and you don’t have to learn one thing at a time. In my class, you can learn two things all together in an easy and efficient way, Chinese (Mandarin) and math altogether. We can kill two birds with one stone! I am bilingual in English and Chinese.
I have lived and studied in China for more than 18 years. After that I moved to US, and I graduated from University of Washington in 2006 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Even though my major was in Accounting and Finance, I loved to teach whenever I had my spare time. When I was at college, I was a math tutor, and I also worked as a lab assistant in the UW language learning center for helping foreign students to learn English and Chinese.
I have been teaching on Outschool for over two years. I really enjoy teaching in this platform. I have tutoring experience with young learners, and I can also teach teenagers and pre-college students for math. After I graduated, I worked as a financial accountant in a non-for-profit organization for 5 years, and another three years with a private company. I am really good at math and Chinese.
