Drawing Fundamentals Level 1: Beginner (Ages 6-11)

Welcome to Drawing Fundamentals Course Level 1- Beginner!

In this 10-week drawing course, artists will learn the fundamentals of drawing. We will go step by step together and explore the basics of drawing such as line, shape, and shading. We will create drawings of animals, people, nature scenes, homes, cityscapes and still lives. 

Students will follow along with the drawing steps but are encouraged to add their own ideas! Every class will focus on drawing with pencil but towards the end of the class, students are free to color using their favorite coloring material (crayons, markers, oil pastels, etc.) 

The pace of our class will be based on the student’s abilities, so we will go slower or faster depending on how we are doing together. 

Their is no experience needed for this class!

Platform: Classes will be conducted via Zoom (dual screen, presentation slides, interactive discussions)
Who Can Join: Recommended for students ages 6-8
