Learn How to Draw Flowers (Ages 7-10)

Welcome to this ongoing art class on How to Draw Flowers! 

In this on-going drawing club, artists will learn how to draw all different kinds of flowers from sun flowers, to roses, to beautiful daisy's. We will go step by step together and explore the basic shapes of a flower and build up the drawing by learning various shading techniques such as hatching, cross hatching, and blending.  

Students will follow along with the drawing steps but are encouraged to add details to their flowers. Every class will focus on drawing with pencil but towards the end of the class, students are free to color using their favorite coloring material (crayons, markers, oil pastels, etc.) 

The pace of our class will be based on the student’s abilities, so we will go slower or faster depending on how we are doing together. 

All that is needed for this class is a willingness to learn and to not give up!

Course Time and Dates: 7:00 pm on Mondays starting March 3, 2025 and ongoing. 
Who Can Join: Recommended for students ages 7-10, but its flexible!

March 3- Rose
March 10- Iris
March 17- Daffodil
March 24- Lavender
March 31- Lily 
April 7- Marigold
April 14- Peony 

And many more dates! Here is a list of more flowers that students will learn to draw: Primrose, Snowdrop, Tulip, Violet, Water Lily, Aster, Lotus, Orchid, etc.
