Outschool - Beginner Guitar Level 2 Outline 

Join me for an 8 week semester-long guitar course, for students who have gone through my Beginner Guitar class for the Absolute Beginner. 

In this class we will take off where we left off in that class, diving deeper into chords, learning 2-3 finger chord voicings, more challenging TAB songs, full scales, and more.  Your learner will have a blast progressing their guitar skills! 

In addition to our weekly group lessons, learners will receive play along videos for songs and exercises to help them with their practice throughout the week. 


What will they learn? 


  🌟  Chords and Chord Progressions including: G, C, Am, F, D, A  (2 finger and 3 finger versions) 

  🌟  Fun songs, using beginner friendly chords   

  🌟  Slightly more advanced TAB songs 

  🌟  Strumming on more complex rhythms  

  🌟  Fun simple exercises to strengthen finger independence 

  🌟  Full version of a Minor Pentatonic Scale (In multiple keys and voicings)

  🌟  Alternate Picking

All group classes will include engaging slides, to help students understand what they are learning on the guitar, as well as opportunities to perform songs for me and other students if they are interested.  This is completely optional but is a fun way for students to show off what they have been learning in class!
