Hora del arte: ¡Diversión dibujando y coloreando!

In this 25-minute class, students will learn to draw simple, fun characters and scenes. We’ll cover basic drawing techniques using easy shapes and then bring their drawings to life with colors! Students will draw a variety of fun subjects such as animals, flowers, and other creative ideas.

Class Structure:

Introduction (3 minutes):
We’ll briefly talk about what we’ll draw and get excited for the class!

Drawing (15 minutes, adjustable):
We will draw a simple pictures together, step-by-step, making sure every student is comfortable following along.

Coloring (4 minutes, adjustable):
After drawing, students will have time to color in their artwork, using their imagination to choose fun colors!

Wrap-up (3 minutes, adjustable):
We’ll review everyone's work and share our favorite parts of the drawings.

Teaching Style: I use a fun, energetic, and hands-on approach. I guide students through each step and make sure to encourage their creativity. Expect to see a mix of clear demonstrations, one-on-one feedback, and positive reinforcement throughout the class.

Student Interaction: The class is interactive, and students will have opportunities to ask questions and show off their drawings at the end. We will work together through drawing and coloring, and I will give individual attention to each student to ensure they’re confident with each step.

This is a fun, easy-going class where creativity is celebrated!

6-Week Class Schedule:

Week 1: March 23 - March 29

Lesson: Flying Superhero Animals
Students will draw a fun, flying superhero animal (like a cat in a cape or a dog with wings)! They will use simple shapes to create their superhero, then color them in with bright, bold colors to bring their characters to life.

Week 2: March 30 - April 5

Lesson: Magical Underwater Castle
Students will dive into their imagination to draw a magical underwater castle surrounded by sea creatures! They’ll design the castle with cool windows, bubbles, and fish, then color their scene with vibrant ocean hues.

Week 3: April 6 - April 12

Lesson: Super Silly Monster Party
Let’s get creative with quirky monsters! Students will design their own silly monster, using wacky shapes and fun details, then add colors to bring their monsters to life.

Week 4: April 13 - April 19
Lesson: Underwater Wonderland: Fish and Sea Creatures
Students will dive into an underwater world, drawing a cute fish, jellyfish, or even a mermaid, and color them with vibrant ocean colors.

Week 5: April 20 - April 26
Lesson: Enchanted Garden: Flowers, Bugs, and Butterflies
We’ll explore the beauty of nature, drawing a whimsical garden full of flowers, buzzing bees, and fluttering butterflies, then color everything in bright, happy tones.

Week 6: April 27 - May 3
Lesson: Space Adventure: Rocket Ships and Aliens
Blast off into space! Students will draw their very own rocket ship and a friendly alien, then color them with cosmic colors and sparkly stars.
