Matemáticas de 5.º grado Unidad 6 Geometría

This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts taught in fifth grade. This class is the sixth of the series, and focuses on geometric concepts that are taught in fifth grade. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this course.

Days 1 and 2: Geometric Vocabulary and Shape Classification
Days 3 and 4: Finding Perimeter of Various Shapes
Days 5 and 6: Finding Area of Rectangles, Squares, Triangles and Compound Shapes
Days 7 and 8: Finding Volume of Rectangular Prisms

After each live class meeting, an optional practice activity covering the previous lessons' topics will be send in order to provide more opportunities for independent practice.
