Upon successful completion of our Intermediate Level 2 Chess Course, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, recognizing their mastery of advanced chess strategies, tactics, and techniques. Intermediate Level
This 10-week Intermediate Level 2 Chess Course covers advanced strategies and techniques, including vulnerabilities, central control, pawn structure, king safety, and attacking principles. The class is structured into weekly lessons, each focusing on a specific topic. Instruction will be delivered through a combination of lecture, games, and discussion, promoting interactive learning. The teaching style is guided instruction with opportunities for questions and feedback. Learners will engage directly with the instructor through live sessions, Q&A, and game analysis, ensuring personalized attention and support.

Master advanced tactics, including pins, forks, and skewers, to improve attacking play and defensive skills.
Develop strategic understanding of pawn structure, central control, and king safety to enhance overall chess performance.

Vulnerabilities in the Rearguard
Understanding the weaknesses of the back rank and how to exploit them. Learn how to launch a successful attack on your opponent's position.

Learning Needs
Our chess class is intentionally designed to support unique learning needs, such as ADHD, Dyslexia, and ASD, by incorporating visual, tactile, and kinesthetic learning approaches, flexible pacing, and one-on-one attention.
Parental Guidance
To maintain privacy, we utilize the anonymous gameplay feature on Lichess for all chess play activities.
Pre-Requisites
Completion of Intermediate Level 1 or equivalent experience. Learners should possess solid understanding of tactics, pawn structure, and basic endgames, with approximately 1-2 years of chess experience
Supply List
For a seamless and secure learning experience, we will utilize LICHESS.ORG for interactive gameplay. To ensure learner anonymity and safety, we will provide anonymous access links, eliminating the need for account creation."
