This is a Private Beginning Crochet Class, so we will move at the student's pace. If your student has never crochet before, this Beginning Crochet Class is the perfect place to start! Students will learn how to hold the hook and yarn and start a project. Students will also learn the basic crochet stitches and their abbreviations and begin reading patterns. Topics we will cover in class: Week of March 4th: How to hold the hook and yarn How to start a project with the chain stitch How to finish off a project Week of March 11th: How to begin reading abbreviations How to turn a project How to work a single crochet in a project How to finish off a project Week of March 18th: How to begin reading abbreviations How to turn a project How to work a single crochet in a project How to finish off a project Week of March 25th: Work on project Additional topics will be added as we go
