Description

Class Experience

In this 1-week camp, learners will learn about and draw 5 ocean animals.  We will compile our 5 illustrations into an "aquarium" portfolio.  

Students will develop their spatial awareness and artistic confidence by following the directed drawing instructions.  By creating a cumulative keepsake with their work, students will take pride in their creation and hopefully feel eager to share their aquarium with family and friends.

Students will learn to draw 5 animals, create a keepsake portfolio of their work, and engage in discussion with fellow learners.

Students will need the following materials:

For drawings: White copy paper, pencil, black marker, and something to color with; crayons, markers, colored pencils and/or paint.
For aquarium book:  Small binder with cover sleeve and 5 clear page protectors OR presentation binder with space for 5 pages.
*Students can also just keep completed pages in a regular folder, but the page protectors will allow the work to be saved.
