Mrs. Carr is a retired marine biologist who teaches biology, chemistry, and aquatic science in high school. She maintains 24 aquariums at school and 8 at home, including freshwater, saltwater and reef tanks. She is also the vice president of her local fish club, the Raleigh Aquarium Society. Generally she gets in trouble at parties for talking about her fish too much, and she can always be found examining the nearest fish tank and she spends her vacations visiting state and local aquariums.
