Class experience
Have you ever wanted to create your own adventure, but not sure how to start? Had a great idea of D&D story, but have a hard time putting thoughts to paper? Look no further than this class, where we discuss, write, and create your very own adventure for Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. In this class we will cover basics in story telling, what makes a good D&D adventure, and how to play our adventure. By the end of the class, students will have written their own D&D adventure. Students will learn creative writing and the basics of storytelling. Students will learn to use their creativity and imagination. Students will have to present and the end of the course and gain experience in public speaking.
Homework Offered
At the end of each class, students will have a new assignment that they must complete by the start of next week's class. At the start of each class, students will present their homework to the class. The length of homework will depend on the assignment and the adventure that your student has decided to create.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students should have a notebook and pen/pencil in order to take notes and write their adventure in. Students may write their adventure digitally through Microsoft Word or Google Docs if they want. Other helpful material, though not necessary, are the Dungeon Master Manual, Monster Manual, or any other D&D 5e source books they may have. If you do not have any source book then check out the Essential Rule Book. It provides the basics on how to play the game and may be helpful.
