Class Experience

This is a one-time class where learners will be asked questions regarding winter using the format "Would you rather...?"
 Learners will practice taking turns to listen to their peers. Learners will also take turns stating their opinions and providing reasons for their opinions. 
This is a class that will get learners thinking and talking about different options.

Learners will practice learning the parts of a conversation:

1. How to join a conversation
2. Knowing what is being discussed and how to stay on topic. 
3. How to listen to others and continuing the conversation or stating their opposite idea. 
4. How to end a conversation

Learning Goals

- Students will practice stating their opinion and providing reasons to support their opinion. 
- Students will apply critical thinking skills. 
- Students will use different tones of voice to say "I think..., I would rather,.. In my opinion..."

My mission is to enrich your learner's Spanish with classes taught 100% in Spanish that will boost confidence and solidify their Spanish reading, writing, speaking, and listening. 

Bilinguals benefit from achieving academic success, personal success, confidence, and an ability to make a difference in the world by being able to communicate with others in two different languages

High School Spanish Tutor 1-on-1 Tutoring Language Classes:

One-on-one Spanish classes are ideal to work at the student’s pace and build confidence. What is your student currently learning in Spanish class? What do they need help with? What questions do they have? 

Classes are 30 minutes or 45 minutes

Education Background:
I have a bachelors degree in Counseling Psychology, a Post-Baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education, followed by a Masters Degree in TESOL from Michigan State University. I have taught students of all ages from toddlers to adults. My classes are characterized by being dynamic with music, reading, and talking. 

ESL - EFL English as a Second Language Classes:

I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced English classes. Lessons can be about books, specific grammar questions / exercises. I also teach advanced conversation classes. These classes start out with a prompt or theme followed by questions to guide the conversation. Learners are welcome to share their ideas, ask questions, and interact with other learners. 

Classes are 25 minutes. 

I am here to support, encourage, and motivate your learners in their language learning journey!
