This ongoing class welcomes students anytime! We’ll practice key social skills like communication, teamwork, empathy, and conflict resolution. Each session includes short lessons paired with fun games, music, and dancing to make learning exciting and engaging. Join us to build confidence, make new friends, and grow important life skills in a fun, supportive space! Weekly topics may change based on group need. Schedule: 4/8/25 Week 1- Empathy- what is it and why is it important 4/15/25 Week 2- What is a friend? 4/22/25 Week 3 - Passive, assertive, aggressive 4/29/25 Week 4- Using 1 statements 5/6/25 Week 5- building a strong team 5/13/25 week 6- What is bullying? 5/20/25 Week 7- Learn how to read the room! (body language) 5/27/25 week 8- What is conflict and how do we resolve it? 6/3/25 week 9- Your feelings are always valid. Your actions may need some work 6/10/25 week 10- Teaching people how to treat us 6/17/25 week 11- What is bullying? 6/24/25 week 12- Understanding my worth. Topics will restart after this week.
