Worn Out Teddy - Create Realistic Fur and Distressing Textures in Procreate

***This class DOES NOT require any prerequisites since the principles/techniques needed to complete the class are taught DURING the lesson*** However, PLEASE be respectful of the other students, including your own child, (as it can be overwhelming if they are not qualified), as you consider your learner’s maturity with regard to listening skills, comprehension, and processing. If you would like to try one of Mr. Niven’s classes, but your child struggles with learning, please consider starting with a private lesson. Worn out Teddy focuses on creating realistic fur and other textures, to create a worn or distressed look. This class REQUIRES Procreate on either iPad or iPhone! Mr. Niven will take students through various steps, layer by layer. A signature element of each of Mr. Niven’s classes is his natural introduction of new techniques, and art principles, (some of which are his own techniques), without students even realizing they’re being taught. This class utilizes state-of-the-art, screen-sharing technology, using Zoom, which allows students to see and hear Mr. Niven teaching, while watching him draw directly on his iPad screen. Mr. Niven’s teaching style is fun and relaxed, yet motivating, which allows the students to feel comfortable, and confident. Bryan builds on principles, techniques and processes, using real-world examples, and motivates his students to use the knowledge gained in class, to create on their own.
