Mr. Niven’s high-demand classes are taught on the iPad or iPhone, using the insanely popular app, Procreate.  Mr. Niven specializes not only in teaching students art principles and techniques, but also in motivation. With nearly a thousand, five-star reviews, and decades of experience, in a wide range of mediums, and teaching environments, Mr.  Niven can give your child the confidence they need to take their art skills to the next level. Unlike in a group setting, private lessons allow for accelerated learning, through personalized  lesson plans, that cater specifically to your learner. Arrangements may be made to work with Mr. Niven on a custom -even ongoing- project, understanding that Mr. Niven must be comfortable with the subject matter, and reserves the right to recommend adjustments and/or alternative projects based on his expert, professional judgement. 

***SCHEDULING DISCLAIMER/MISSED-CLASS POLICY: Mr. Niven’s classes are in HIGH DEMAND, with his private teaching pool currently at around 40 students. With that in mind, if your child misses a class for ANY reason, including, but not limited to:  scheduling conflicts, forgetfulness, illness, emergency, or even preference, Mr. Niven will conveniently leave your student a PERSONAL class recording of the art lesson, (filmed at the appointed time of the class), that picks up right where things left off the previous week.  By removing the need for rescheduling, consideration and respect of time, (for parents, students, and teachers), are considered, and ultimately the student does not miss out on class. At the discretion of Mr. Niven, under special circumstances, when dates are known well in advance, Mr. Niven may be able to open up your students specific time slot, for other students, and essentially, “pause”, classes while you are gone. Please note that Mr. Niven reserves the right to cancel your subscription and open the class to the public, or cancel a class section entirely. In the event of one of or both of these actions, communication will be provided. In the event that Mr. Niven needs to cancel class, options for rescheduling, providing a class recording, or refund, will be offered.

Mr. Niven’s teaching style is fun and relaxed, yet motivating, which allows students to feel comfortable, and confident. Bryan builds on principles, techniques and processes, using real-world examples, from nearly 20 years in the professional art and photography industry.
