Description
Class Experience
Each learner will practice phonics and saying words while singing the “Hello Song”, building their winter marshmallow snow men, snow faces snow vehicles etc, sharing the brief “Show and Tell” and while singing the “Good-bye Song”.
I am a Speech and Language Pathologist for over 25 years and worked in a variety of settings in U.S. and Geneva, Switzerland. I am certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and licensed in many states. I have a strong passion for teaching and providing a multi sensory approach to learning. I am patient, fun, creative and energetic! I am very excited to teach on Outschool!
The following is a suggested list for creating the winter edible art items. 1. Large and small marshmallows 2. Pretzel sticks (may substitute with thinly cut celery or carrot sticks) 3. Small edibles such as raisins or cereal for use for “eyes,nose, mouth, buttons etc” 4. Various circle and square crackers. 5. A nut butter and/or cream cheese 6. A plate Feel free to substitute food items tailored to your learner’s dietary needs and tastes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
