In this 1-on-1 ongoing digital art class, the student will learn the basics of digital illustration, drawing and painting using the Procreate app on iPad. They will learn different tools and techniques while completing their artwork.

Beginner - Advanced Level
In this class the student will learn by doing! They will complete digital art projects and learn new drawing and painting tools in their iPad app Procreate. You are welcome to choose your favorite subjects to draw, paint or illustrate. Students will learn the fallowing -Create a new canvas, and choose the size of our digital artwork -Create layers -Use the brush library -Use the sliders to adjust brush size and opacity -Use gestures -Make digital art -Export the project file Tentative Weekly Schedule: - first week of the month: Draw and paint abstract art or the subject of your choice - second week of the month: Illustrate your favorite story book character - third week of the month: Illustrate a leaf or a tree - forth week of the month: Mythical or cute animal Important: Students need to see my screen share in Zoom. At the same time they should be able to work on their projects on iPad. Procreate is a digital illustration app available only on iPad.

I will show reference images to students using Google Slides
please make sure to have an iPad with the procreate app installed (Procreate is a digital illustration app available only on iPad)
Having a stylus Pen for iPad is recommended but using fingers would work too.
